Sliced Botanic

This ongoing series explores the hidden architecture of flowers through a microscopic lens. Inspired by the textures, patterns, and cellular rhythms found in petals and plant anatomy, each work abstracts the natural world into layered marks, stains, and lines.
Working with pigments, pencil, and collage, I allow each piece to unfold through layering and open-ended mark-makings. The process sits somewhere between observation and invention—where soft structures emerge, and chance interactions shape the form. These works suggest growth, fragility and in awe in the smallest details of nature.
