Slice of Capri
Inspired by the quiet act of witnessing sunrises across different landscapes, each vase is shaped in response to an abstracted horizon. The orb acts as a visual anchor, subtly shifting with each angle of view.
Beginning with mark-making and collage before moving into clay, the process balances intuition and control. This piece was exhibited at 1000 Vases, Paris (2024), and, like a horizon, each piece holds space—open, grounded, and full of possibility.

All pieces are entirely handcrafted in my homestudio in Singapore. Each piece is unique in it's shape and color tones. Please note that textures, folds, grogs are part of the desired effects for the collection.
Slight variations in terms of dimensions and color compared to the photos and between different pieces of the same series are expected, they represent the charm and uniqueness of handcrafted work.
